I’m amazed that woman didn’t die from either the truck or a heart attack.

I would have called the cops and reported him, that cock slap should lose his license for doing that

It’s too bad u couldn’t see the plate number. I bet the local police wouldn’t mind telling that guy to go F himself.

Yeah the OP has been trying to find anyone who has software that can make the plate legible.

A pickup truck driver, driving like a prick?
I wasn’t expecting that!

I don’t think we can quite say that, given that pickup trucks are the most common body style of vehicle in the US. That would be like me saying, “A hatchback driver, driving like a prick? I wasn’t expecting that!” in Europe.

Actually, a buddy of mine who used to work for UPS said that they have quite a bit of training (including tips like never back up — go around the block if you miss a turn, etc.) and various incentives (bonuses and gifts) for driving safely and avoiding accidents.

UPS has stringent standards (and they’re good drivers from my experience), but I don’t think that DHL has the same level.

More than likely, the police won’t care at all. If no one is injured, and no significant property damage occurs, then the event is not legally a crash, and the law couldn’t care less.
This was cleary explained to me by the police after I was hit on my bicycle by a a pickup truck. I wasn’t injured, so the driver of the truck is free to go on hitting as many people as he likes, so long as none are actually injured.

If the world was just, he should lose his license. But sadly, the law cares more about actual consequences than behavior that only created the potential consequences. In my state (and presumably most others), a crash must involve injury or significant property damage. A driver can go around hitting as many people as they like so long as they don’t actually injure anyone.

That wouldn’t make it not true though.
